A brief start. I'm surprisingly unconcerned by it. Day by day, words happen and some kinds of words are faster than others.

And done. Well, doneish. Even when I wrote essays I often left the details of the ending until the final pass. It's a passion thing, I think.

Anyhow, weighing in at 9200 words. Just as I had to add and remove and shift some stuff between Ghost and Script, I imagine the Rough won't be a perfect expansion of the Script.

I wonder if this light-weight end development is going to make writing the end drag out for six months again. The scene synopses are getting shorter and shorter, which kind of makes sense when you consider that exposition fades and is replaced by tension and action.

The entire outline is at 8400 words at the moment. I'm guessing there's another thousand words to go or so.

Some words scattered here and there as I continue to development necessary for the second half of the story. There really are too many fights as it stands and a lot of details that need to be worked out that I'd been procrastinating on. Even now, each scene outline I write is half the size of the scene outlines at the beginning of the story.
